This tool takes the untouched sensor files from your camera and saves them as normal JPGs you can view, share and print. It reads the main formats from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus/OM System and Panasonic, plus Adobe DNG. You can convert camera RAW to JPG without Lightroom, without Photoshop and without any extra app. Each RAW photo to JPG, RAW image to JPG or RAW file to JPG job follows the same steps.

For RAW to JPG online free with no watermark, there is no account and no daily limit wall. It works in any browser, so there is no software to download, and the result is a plain JPG you can use anywhere.
How your RAW files are handled
Browsers cannot decode camera RAW, so these files go to our server. Each travels over HTTPS, is processed in memory, and nothing is stored after you receive the JPG. That keeps the process secure enough for client shoots and personal photos.
What is a RAW file?
A RAW file is the near-untouched data from your camera sensor. It is not yet a finished picture: colour has to be worked out from the sensor pattern (called demosaicing), and white balance, contrast and sharpening are applied afterwards. If you have ever asked what is a raw file or what is raw photo data, that is the short answer.
Why are RAW files so large?
RAW keeps 12 or 14 bits per colour and the full dynamic range the sensor captured. A 24 MP RAW is typically 25–30 MB, while a high quality JPG of the same shot is about 5–8 MB. That raw file size gap is why cards fill up quickly.

Should I shoot RAW or JPEG?
Shoot RAW when light is tricky or you plan to edit; shoot JPEG for quick everyday shots. The question of raw or jpg which is better depends on the job. If you shoot RAW only, convert to JPG whenever you need to share.
Canon, Nikon, Sony and other brands
Canon: CR2 and CR3
Canon's older bodies write CR2 and newer ones write CR3, which many older apps still cannot open. To open CR3 files on an older laptop, converting them is often the quickest route. Both work here. If you are asking how to convert CR2 to JPG, drop them in; you can convert CR2 to JPG and convert CR3 to JPG in the same batch.
Nikon: NEF
Nikon DSLRs and Z cameras save NEF. Not sure how to convert NEF to JPG? Drop them in; no Nikon software is needed.
Sony: ARW
Sony Alpha cameras save ARW. You can convert ARW to JPG straight from the card reader folder.
Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic
Fujifilm RAF files, Olympus ORF files (including OM System ORF) and Panasonic Lumix RW2 files are all supported, so a Fujifilm raw to jpg, Olympus raw to jpg or Panasonic raw to jpg job needs nothing else installed.
DNG from phones and other cameras
DNG is Adobe's open RAW format. Many phones save Android RAW DNG files, and iPhone ProRAW is DNG too, so an iPhone ProRAW to JPG conversion works here as long as each file is under 25 MB. You can also convert DNG to JPG from Leica, Pentax and drone cameras.
Why your JPG may look different from the camera preview
A common surprise is that RAW to JPG looks different from what you saw on the camera screen. The camera preview is its own JPG, with the maker's colour style baked in. A RAW converter, like any RAW image converter, makes its own choices for contrast and colour.
Why RAW looks dull or flat
RAW data has no in-camera contrast or saturation curve, so it can look flatter. To give it punch, open the result in the photo editor and use Auto enhance, or adjust contrast, vibrance and white balance by hand. It works as a simple RAW photo editor step.
Colours and white balance
If skin tones look too warm or cool, change temperature and tint in the editor. Compare with the original using hold to compare (B key) to judge the change.
Editing RAW online, then exporting

Batch converting after a shoot
Weddings and trips produce hundreds of frames. You can batch convert RAW to JPG in groups of 30.
- Select up to 30 RAW files and drop them in.
- Set JPG quality and an optional longest side once for the batch.
- Switch on Keep date & camera if you want the capture details kept.
- Watch results arrive and press Download all for a ZIP.
Tips for big batches
Because files upload, a fast connection helps. A batch can mix NEF, CR3 and ARW. If one file fails, retry that card only. To convert multiple RAW files to JPG regularly, your settings are remembered.
Keeping EXIF and the date
With Keep date & camera turned on, RAW to JPG keep date and camera details work, so the shooting date stays in the JPG, so your photos still sort correctly by time in Google Photos or your gallery.
Quality settings for sharing, clients and print
Keeping quality high
JPG is 8-bit and lossy, so some editing headroom is gone after conversion, but visible quality can stay excellent, so you can convert RAW to JPG without losing quality you would notice. Use quality 92–95 for masters and printing, which gives RAW to JPG high quality results.
Client previews and WhatsApp
For client galleries, quality 85 with a 2048 px longest side keeps files light. The same settings suit WhatsApp sharing without heavy recompression.
Convert, then use Resize image with Instagram presets or Crop image to 4:5 for a portrait post.
Printing
Keep full size and quality 92 or above. To shrink to an exact target size for an upload, use Compress image afterwards.
On Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android
Windows
Windows may need extra codecs to open RAW files on Windows at all, and newer formats such as CR3 are often missing. This page skips that: open it in Edge or Chrome and convert.
Mac
Photos and Preview support many cameras, but brand-new models can lag behind. The converter here works in Safari or Chrome.
iPhone and Android
